ENTERPRISES IN THE AMOUNT OF $20,000.00 <br />DATE: MAY 25, 2000 <br />BACKGROUND <br />On April 10 and 17, 2000, the Purchasing Division advertised for sealed Request for Proposals for <br />securing and abating public nuisance property for the City of Colton Code Enforcement Division of the <br />Police Department. Staff also mailed the "Notice Inviting Request for Proposals" and complete packets to <br />four vendors. <br />DISCUSSION/ANALYSIS <br />The Request for Proposal opening was held at 2:30 p.m., May 1, 2000. Two Request for Proposals were <br />received and evaluated by the Purchasing Division. Proposals were evaluated on the basis of price and <br />vendor reputation and experience. A Proposal analysis is attached. <br />Staff is recommending award of contract to V.P.S.
