La Cadena Dr. <br />Colton, CA 92324 <br />Dear Mayor Pro Tempore Deirdre Bennett and Councilmembers: <br />DAVID MICHAEL DAVIS <br />City Librarian <br />At the April 25 meeting, the Colton Public Library Board of Trustees voted and unanimously <br />approved filling two board positions effective July 1, 2000. The California Education Code and <br />Chapter 2.6 of the Municipal Code stipulate that library trustee positions are for three-year terms. <br />These positions will, therefore, expire June 30, 2003. <br />Library Board Trustee Hilda Garcia and I would like to continue serving on the Library Board.
