R-12-00 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON, <br />PRIORITIZING THE TYPES OF PROJECTS TO BE FUNDED BY <br />COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT FUNDS FOR THE FISCAL <br />YEAR 2000-2001. <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Colton elected to enter into a Cooperation <br />Agreement with the County of San Bernardino in order to receive Community Development <br />Block Grant (CDBG) funds; and, <br />WHEREAS, as a Cooperating City, the City of Colton anticipates receiving $368,000 in <br />Community Development Block Grant funds for Fiscal Year 2000-2001; and, <br />WHEREAS, the City must inform the County as to which eligible projects will be funded <br />with CDBG funds. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Colton <br />prioritizes and allocates CDBG funds for the following projects for Fiscal Year 2000-2001: <br />1. "Minor Home Repair Program for Seniors" (#26140) <br />2. "Shoppin' 4 Seniors Program" (#26143) <br />3. "Congregate and Home Delivered Meals for Elderly <br />and Disabled Persons" (#26174) <br />4. "Legal Immigration Assistance Services" (#26195) <br />5. "Expansion of Home Delivered Meals for Homebound <br />Seniors" (#26225) <br />6. "Youth Mentoring, Skill Training and Character <br />Development Program" (#26271) <br />7. "Code Enforcement Program" (#26272) <br />8. "Street Improvements -Northeast Colton Missing Links: <br />Shasta, Scenic, and Sperry Drives; Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, <br />Virginia, Florence, and Western Avenues (#26273) <br />9. "Adult and Family Literacy Education Program" (#26274) <br />10.
