PROCEDURES FOR ADDRESSING CITY COUNCIL For the Official Record, it is requested that you obtain a card from the City Clerk and complete it by noting a specific item number on the Agenda, if applicable, or you can identify the subject that you wish to address under the Public Comment portion of the Agenda. The City Council encourages public input on all City issues within the Rules of Decorum: DECORUM AND ORDER To help conduct the business of the City Council in an orderly fashion, the to Decorum and Order. If someone begins to make impertinent or slanderous remarks, the Presiding Officer (or the City Manager or City Attorney at the direction of the Presiding Officer) may request that the person follow the Council Rules of civil conduct. NOTICE TO PUBLIC Staff reports or other written documentation relating to each item refereed to, on the Agenda, are on file in the Office of the City Clerk and are available for public inspection. Any person having questions concerning any item on the Agenda may call the City Clerk at 37G-5032; to make inquiry concerning the nature of the item described on the Agenda. The City Clerk shall direct inquiries to the appropriate office. All matters listed under CONSENT CALENDAR are considered by the City Council to be routine and will all be enacted by one motion in the form listed below. There will be no separate discussion of these items prior to the time the City Council votes on the motion to adopt unless Members of the Council, Staff or the Public request specific items be discussed and/or removed from the CONSENT CALENDAR for separate action. In compliance with the American with Disabilities Act, if you need special assistance to participate in a City Meeting, please contact the City Clerk's Office at 909-370-5135.
