In fact, workshop participants are advised not to engage in <br />such discussions. The sessions are designed to emphasize team -building issues which are of <br />genCrAl interest to city officials. <br />Unlike other League conferences, the format of the sessions are not conducive to participation <br />by spouses or guests of attendees. Spouse and guest attendance is discoufW& <br />The minimum number of participants from each city is three (two elected officials and the city <br />manager). Past participating cities have found it best to have the M council participate. <br />7he workshop site was selected for its appropriateness to the format of the sessions. The site <br />offers a quiet setting perfect for concentrating on learning and skills building. Because of the <br />nature of the sessions, all who register must commit to arrive on time and stay for the entire <br />session. <br />1F This workshop is part of the Elected Officials Leadership Academy. <br />Be sure to register early because space Is limited.
