1 within the City, or within any building owned by or leased to the City, whether such person is or <br />2 is not in or upon any automobile or other vehicle or conveyance. <br />3 <br />4 9.20.030 Possession Prohibited. It shall be unlawful for any person to <br />5 possess any can, bottle, or other receptacle containing an alcoholic beverage, as defined in <br />6 section 9.20.010, that has been opened, or had its seal broken, or the contents of which have been <br />7 partially removed, in any City park or other City -owned property or other public place, <br />8 including, but not limited to, City -owned or City -leased buildings, parking lots, streets, alleys, <br />9 ways, sidewalks, parkways and playgrounds. <br />10 <br />11 9.20.040 Retail Off -Sale Alcoholic Beverage Licensees. It shall be <br />12 unlawful for any person possessing any can, bottle, or other receptacle containing an alcoholic <br />13 beverage, as defined in section 9.20.010, that has been opened, or had its seal broken, or the <br />14 contents of which have been partially removed, to enter or remain on the posted premises of, <br />15 including the posted parking lot immediately adjacent to, any retail package off -sale alcoholic <br />16 beverage licensee licensed pursuant to Division 9 (commencing with Section 23000) of the <br />17 Business & Professions Code. All licensees shall comply with the following requirements: <br />18 <br />19 (a) All retail package off -sale alcoholic beverage licensees licensed <br />20 pursuant to Division 9 (commencing with Section 23000) of the Business & Professions Code to <br />21 operate in the City of Colton shall post the licensed premises with permanent signs not less than <br />22 17 wide by 22 inches high, with letters not less than 1 inch in height, which signs shall be <br />23 approved by the City and which signs shall include the following language: <br />24 "No person in possession of any bottle, can or other receptacle containing any alcoholic beverage <br />25 which has been opened, or seal broken, or the contents of which have been partially removed, <br />26 shall enter, be, or remain on the posted premises of, including the posted parking lot immediately <br />27 adjacent to, this business.
