Item #10 <br />CITY OF COLTON <br />AGENDA REPORT <br />FOR COUNCIL MEETING OF September 4, 2001 <br />TO: Honorable Mayor and City Council <br />FROM: Ron Kenny, Parks, Recreation & Family Services Director t% <br />SUBJECT: Approve Request for Recruitment, Ratification and Appointment to the <br />Part-time Position of Fiscal Clerk/Receptionist Within the Childcare <br />Division. <br />DATE: August 27, 2001 <br />BACKGROUND: <br />The approved Proposition 10 budget for 2001/2002 allows for the hiring of a part-time Fiscal <br />Clerk/Receptionist at the Colton Cares Proposition 10 facility. There is now a need to begin a <br />recruitment process for this position. <br />DISCUSSION/ANALYSIS: <br />The increase in the number of children served and services offered to children at the Colton Cares <br />Proposition 10 Child Care facility requires the hiring of a part-time Fiscal Clerk/Receptionist. This <br />position is budgeted for the 2001/2002 fiscal year. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: <br />The position currently appears in the City's FY 2001/2002 budget funded as follows: Account #206- <br />7200-7204-1040 (salary). <br />ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT: <br />None <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Staff recommends that City Council approve recruitment, ratification and appointment to the part time <br />position of Fiscal Clerk/Receptionist within the Child Care Division. <br />ATTACHMENT: <br />Resolution <br />REVIEW TEAM ONLY <br />City <br />City <br />Finance Director: <br />bLam( "6 SLG"tdG^ <br />OTHER: <br />
