R-36-02 <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON, <br />CALIFORNIA AMENDING THE BUDGET FOR FISCAL YEARS <br />COMMENCING JULY 1, 2001 AND ENDING JUNE 30, 2003 <br />WHEREAS: The Budget for the City of Colton for the Fiscal Years commencing July 1, <br />2001 and ending June 30, 2003 was approved and adopted on June 15, 2001; and <br />WHEREAS: The approved budget is in accordance with all applicable ordinances of the <br />City and all applicable statutes of the State; and <br />WHEREAS: The Reallocation of appropriations between departmental activities may be <br />made by the City Manager, Amendments (increases/decreases) to the Budget shall be by <br />approval and Resolution of the City Council. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON DOES <br />HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION 1. It has been necessary to make an amendment to the 2001/2002 Fiscal <br />Year Budget, adjusting the Salary and Benefits accounts, Allocation accounts and Capital <br />Outlay accounts. These changes are needed to cover the cost of salary and benefit increases <br />resulting from three new positions, and the costs associated with expansion of the city <br />network/telephone system, as indicated in exhibit "A" attached. <br />PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED THIS 2nd DAY OF APRIL 2002. <br />ATTEST: <br />CAROLINA P.
