Heusterberg, Chief of <br />SUBJECT: Street Closures and Posting of No Ptifl�ing <br />DATE: February 5, 2002 <br />BACKGROUND: <br />The Police Department is requesting the closure of certain streets and posting of <br />temporary "No Parking" to allow for excess parking for the services of Retired Chief of <br />Police Patrick G. Crowe. <br />ANALYSIS/DISCUSSION: <br />The funeral services for Retired Chief Patrick G. Crowe will be held on Friday, February 8, <br />2002, at 11:00 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Church, La Cadena Dr. and Olive Street. <br />With limited parking available, it is anticipated that it will be necessary to close several <br />streets in the immediate vicinity to provide adequate parking. Also, the posting of "no <br />parking" along certain streets will be needed to facilitate the process. Street closures are <br />anticipated to be between 8:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. on February 8, 2002. Posting of no <br />parking will be in compliance of applicable laws. The recommendations by the <br />Department are referenced in Attachment A. <br />ALTERNATIVES: <br />Not approve recommendation and provide for street parking as found. <br />ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT: <br />None <br />FISCAL IMPACT: <br />None <br />
