R-74-02 <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />COLTON, CALIFORNIA AMENDING THE BUDGET FOR <br />FISCAL YEAR COMMENCING JULY 1, 2002 AND ENDING <br />JUNE 30, 2003 <br />WHEREAS, the State of California has approved an Instruction Materials Grant <br />in the amount of $10,400 for the Colton Childcare Program, and <br />WHEREAS, the Budget for the City of Colton for the Fiscal <br />Year commencing July 1, 2002 and ending June 30, 2003 was approved and adopted <br />on June 15, 2001; and <br />WHEREAS, the approved budget is in accordance with all applicable <br />ordinances of the City and all applicable statutes of the State; and <br />WHEREAS, the Reallocation of appropriations between departmental activities <br />may be made by the City Manager, Amendments (increases/decreases) to the Budget <br />shall be by approval and Resolution of the City Council. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON DOES <br />HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION 1. That the City Council of the City of Colton, San Bernardino <br />County, California authorizes entering into local agreement number GRPM-1109 and <br />that the City Manager is authorized to sign the applicable documents for the entity. <br />Therefore, it will be necessary to make an amendment to the 2002/2003 Year Budget, <br />increasing expenditure Account Number 206-7200-7206-2301 in the amount of <br />$10,400, and increasing Revenue Account No. 206-5773 by the grant amount of <br />$10,400. <br />SECTION 2.
