The Preliminary Report has been prepared by Muni Financial for the various L.L.M.D. <br />Zones indicating the L.L.M.D. expenses have not increased and there are no additions to <br />the District, therefore, the report reflects the same budget and assessments as 2001/02 <br />and there are no recommended increases for 2002/2003. <br />Section 7 of the resolution Declaring Intention to Levy Annual Assessments gives notices <br />that a Public Hearing regarding the L.L.M.D. will be held on Tuesday, June 18, 2002 at <br />6:00 p.m. At this time, the City Council will hear testimony regarding the Preliminary <br />Report of revenue and expenditures contemplated for the 2002/2003 L.L.M.D. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: <br />The District budget for 2002/2003 prepared by Muni Financial is outlined in their annual <br />report of Assessments, which is on file in the Office of the City Clerk as prescribed by <br />law. <br />ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT: <br />None. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Staff recommends that City Council adopt the following resolutions initiating proceedings <br />for the Colton Landscape and Lighting Maintenance Assessment District No. 1 for Fiscal <br />Year 2002/2003, and setting June 18, 2002 as the Public Hearing Date to determine any <br />protests. <br />Attachments: Three (3) <br />REVIEWTEY <br />City Attorney: Finance Director: / <br />City Manager: \ OTHER: <br />LLMD Agenda 05/25/02 <br />
