WHEREAS, the Agency may draw available funds from the Santa Ana River Bond <br />Account to pay for the installation and construction of the Santa Ana River Projects. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF COLTON AND THE REDEVELOPMENT <br />AGENCY OF COLTON DO HEREBY AGREE AS FOLLOWS: <br />I. PURPOSE OF AGREEMENT. This Agreement provides for the design, <br />construction, installation and financing of certain public work improvements forthe Santa AnaRiver <br />Projects. The design and financing for the cost of improvement of each the Santa Ana River Projects <br />has previously been considered and approved by the City pursuant to City Council Resolution No. <br />R-08-00, dated February 1, 2000, as supplemented by City Council Resolution No. R-92-00, dated <br />December 5, 2000- Subject to the terms and conditions of thi5Agreement, the Agency shall pay for <br />the cost of the design, installation and improvements of each of the Santa Ana River Projects in a <br />total aggregate amount of $1,699,720, and the City shall be responsible for the acquisition and <br />installation, as well as the management and supervision of all aspects of the design, installation and <br />improvements of each of the Santa Ana River Projects, including all public right-of-way and <br />easements acquisition as necessary and appropriate for any of them, together with the payment of <br />any additional costs for the completion of the Santa Ana River Projects as specifically identified in <br />Section 2 of this Resolution in excess of the sum of $1,699,720 as contributed by the Agency from <br />the source of Agency funds obtained from the Santa Ana River Bond Account. <br />2. DESCRIPTION OF SANTA ANA RIVER PROJECTS. The Santa Ana River <br />Projects consist of the following sub -projects each of which shall be designed, constructed and <br />installed by the City pursuant to one or more "public works contracts", as this term is defined in <br />Public Contract Code Section 1101: <br />IDENTIFICATION OF SANTA <br />ANA RIVER PROJECTS: <br />(i) Dauer Park Improvements <br />(ii) Cooley Park Improvements <br />(iii) Hunts Lane Street Lighting and <br />Landscaping and Sidewalks <br />(iv) Washington Street Median and Landscaping <br />(v) Reche Canyon Traffic Signals <br />(vi) Santa Ana River Redevelopment Project <br />Traffic Signals Modification <br />(vii) Street Signal Improvements for Intersection <br />of Hunts Lane and Cooley Ranch <br />TOTAL FOR ALL SANTA ANA RIVER PROJECTS: <br />AGENCY APPROVED BUDGET: <br />$ 162,800 <br />$ 85,500 <br />$ 57,000 <br />$1,021,800 <br />$ 121,820 <br />$ 101,800 <br />S 149,000 <br />$1,699,720 <br />A detailed description of each of the Santa Ana River Projects is on file with the City Engineer. <br />3120101 a <br />SB2001 7060.2 Page 3 of 12 <br />
