Item #8 <br />CITY OF COLTON <br />AGENDA REPORT <br />For Council Meeting of March 5, 2002 <br />TO: HONORABLE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL <br />APPROVAL: DARYL PARRISH, CITY MANAGER <br />FROM: AMER JAKHER, CITY ENGINEER <br />SUBJECT: TO APPROVE AND AUTHORIZE GLENN WILSON OF GTS <br />AND ASSOCIATES TO SIGN AND STAMP PARCEL MAP <br />15773 AS ACTING CONTRACTUAL CITY ENGINEER <br />DATE: February 20, 2002 <br />BACKGROUND: <br />In the process of approving Parcel Map 15773 and to be in compliance with the State of <br />California Business and Professions Code, Section 8700 — 8805 and Government Section <br />66450, it is necessary to have the Final Map reviewed and signed by a professional licensed <br />Land Surveyor. An option to this requirement is a professional licensed Engineer with a <br />registration number prior to 1982. <br />ANALYSIS/DISCUSSION: <br />Gts and Associates has reviewed Parcel Map 15773 up to the point of approval. Since Glenn <br />Wilson of GTS and Associates is no longer an Officer of the City of Colton, staff is requesting <br />City Council to consider authorizing Mr. Wilson to sign Parcel Map 15773 as acting contractual <br />City Engineer, under his prior contract conditions. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT <br />There is no financial impact, cost is paid for by fees collected on the project <br />ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT: <br />None <br />Sheet 1 of 2 <br />
