Itwas found to be appropriate and
approved by the Human Resources Manager and the City Manager based on the documentation presented.
DISCUSSION/ANALYSIS:
In an effort to enhance the planning services of City and provide direct "second in command" support for
the Community Development Director, the reclassification of the Principal Planner position to Planning
Manager is highly desirable. Funds are budgeted in account
number 100-6300-6301-1010 for salary and account number 100-6300-6301-1100 for salary related
benefits.
ENVIROMENTAL IMPACT:
None.
RECOMMENDATION:
That City Council approve the proposed reclassification, job description and salary resolution amendment as
recommended by the City Manager, effective March 6, 2002.
PREPARED BY:
Vicki Porter, Executive Assistant
Attachments: 2
TEAM ONLY
Attorney: Finance
Manager: OTHER:
