Report to City Council regarding RMDZ Renewal <br />November 5, 2002 <br />Page 2 of 2 <br />The governing requirements for preparing the RMDZ renewal re -designation is included in <br />the statues (Public Resources Code Sections 42010-42023) and regulations (Title 14, <br />California Code of Regulations, Sections 17914-17914.5). Zone designations are approved <br />for a term of 10 years. As the lead agency for the administration of the Agua Mansa RMDZ, <br />the County of Riverside EDA is responsible for submitting the necessary documents to the <br />CIWMB, requesting the renewal re -designation of the zone. Each participating jurisdiction, <br />however, must adopt a resolution supporting the application submittal. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: <br />None. <br />ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT: <br />Not Applicable for this action.
