R-132-02 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON ORDERING THE <br />VACATION OF A PORTION OF AN ALLYWAY SOUTH OF VALLEY AND EAST OF LA <br />CADENA DRIVE <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of Colton having elected to proceed under <br />the provisions of Section 8300 at. Seq. of the Streets and Highway Code of the State of <br />California, and having held a public hearing as provided therein, hereby finds from all the <br />evidence submitted that all that portion of an alleyway south of Valley and east of La Cadena <br />described as follows: <br />Being a portion of Block 199, of the map of the Town of Colton Subdivision as <br />recorded in Map Book 9, page 37. Records of San Bernardino County, State of California <br />more particularly described as follows: <br />The westerly 250 feet of that certain alleyway (20.00 feet wide) of Block 199, of <br />the map of the Town of Colton Subdivision as recorded in Map Book 9, page <br />37. Records of said County and State. <br />Is unnecessary for present or prospective public street purposes and the public <br />interest and convenience requires the closing of said streets, with the City reserving all utility <br />easements. <br />SECTION 2. Accordingly the City Council of the City Colton hereby orders the <br />vacation of the allyway south of Valley and east of La Cadena Drive. <br />PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 19' day of November 2002. <br />ATTEST: <br />CAROLINA P.
