Nov 13 02 12:10p City of Colton 909-783-0875 p.3 <br />Nov -12-02 03:21P SIA -Baldy Via Chapter 9099489631 <br />P.03 <br />CITY OF L`OL'I'O1V <br />January 11, 1985 <br />To whom It May concern: <br />The City Council of the City of Colton has recently approved Ordinance No, <br />1668 establishing a Uniform Off-site Subdivision Directional Sign Program <br />in the City of Colton. <br />Recognizing the need for uniform subdivision identification, Ordinance No. <br />1666 sets provisions to create a citywide identification program. The <br />foregoing Ordinance became effective November 1, 1984. The new directional <br />Sign program will involve the use of uniform and comprehensive sign struc- <br />tures plated in strategic locations throughout the community. The indivi- <br />dual structures combine small groupings of identification and directional <br />signs for residential developments being offered for sale, <br />The City Council has authorized the Baldy View Chapter of the Building In- <br />dustry Association to manage the Uniform Off-site Subdivision Directional <br />Sign Program. <br />The City is requesting your compliance with the provisions of the new pro- <br />gram. As has been evidenced in other Southern California communities, a <br />cooperative effort between the City, BIA and the developer in implementing <br />this type of program will be beneficial to all parties involved. <br />Please contact Rebecca Gomez of the BIA at (714) 981-2997 for further de- <br />tails concerning participation in the program.
