=iohs-loa, <br />FIRST AMENDMENT TO PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT <br />BETWEEN THE CITY OF COLTON <br />AND <br />SHARON HALLUM <br />ARTICLE 1. PARTIES AND DATE <br />This First Amendment to the Professional Services Agreement ("First Amendment") dated as <br />of the 16th day of October, 2002 is entered into by and between the City of Colton ("City") and <br />Sharon Hallum ("Consultant"). <br />ARTICLE 2. RECITALS <br />2.1 City and Consultant entered into that certain Professional Services Agreement dated <br />July 10, 2002 ("Agreement"), whereby Consultant agreed to render professional consulting services <br />to the City through assisting the City in the Information Services Division of Finance with technical <br />assistance. <br />2.2 City and Consultant now desire to amend the Agreement to extend the term of the <br />Agreement and include additional compensation. <br />ARTICLE 3. TERMS <br />3.1.1 Compensation. Consultant shall be compensated at $30.00 per hour. Payment under <br />this First Amendment shall not exceed twenty thousand dollars ($20,000). <br />3.1.2 Term. The term of this Agreement shall be from October 1, 2002 to June 30, 2003 <br />unless earlier terminated as provided herein. <br />3.2 Continuing Effect of Agreement. Except as amended by this First Amendment, all <br />provisions of the Agreement shall remain unchanged and in full force and effect. From and after the <br />date of this First Amendment, whenever the term "Agreement" appears in the Agreement, it shall <br />mean the Agreement as amended by this First Amendment. <br />RVPUBQQGS%35I22 _1_ <br />
