Vernon. <br />The City hired a contractor to work on the Mt. Vernon Avenue Street Improvements and <br />Landscape Medians Project which included installation of medians and sidewalk <br />construction along Mt. Vernon Avenue. The contractor is solely responsible for the <br />conditions of the area which contributed to your daughter's injury. While the City of <br />Colton has no responsibility for her injuries, we will be recommending they deny your <br />claim.
