APPROVEiD BY
"0
CITY C N IL
:D :at e] , (1
CITY OF COLTON — Item #
SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA EDISON COMPANY
WHOLESALE DISTRIBUTION ACCESS TARIFF
COMBINED SYSTEM IMPACT STUDY AND
FACILITIES STUDY AGREEMENT
(Agua Mansa Power Project)
1. Summary: The City of Colton ("Colton") applied to Southern California Edison
Company ("SCE") for service under the terms of SCE's Wholesale Distribution
Access Tariff ("WDAT"). Colton proposes to develop a 45.5 MW power generation
plant within Colton's City limits ("Project"). The Project will interconnect to Colton's
existing Colton-Drews 66 kV line via a line tap of approximately one mile. Colton has
stated that the generation will not be sold into the California wholesale energy market.
A System Impact Study is required to determine the adequacy of SCE's electrical
system to accommodate the Project. In addition, a Facilities Study is required to
determine the Direct Assignment Facilities, Distribution System Upgrades, and any
other modifications or additions to SCE's electrical system needed to accommodate
the Project. Accordingly, SCE and Colton desire to enter into this Combined System
Impact Study and Facilities Study Agreement ("Agreement") providing the terms for
SCE to perform the System Impact Study and Facilities Study ("Study") to determine
required Direct Assignment Facilities, Distribution System Upgrades and any other
required modifications or additions needed to accommodate the Project pursuant to the
LVATI 07,74
2. Definitions: All terms with initial capitalization not otherwise defined herein shall
have the meanings assigned to them in the WDAT.
