R-24-03 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON, CALIFORNIA AMENDING THE BUDGET FOR FISCAL YEAR COMMENCING JULY 1, 2002 AND ENDING JUNE 30, 2003. WHEREAS, the Budget for the City of Colton for the Fiscal Year commending July 1, 2002 and ending June 30, 2003 was approved and adopted on July 16, 2002 and WHEREAS, the approved budget is in accordance with all applicable ordinances of the City and all applicable statutes of the State; and WHEREAS, the reallocation of appropriations between departmental activities may be made by the City Manager, Amendments (increases/decreases) to the Budget shall be by approval and Resolution of the City Council. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1: The City Council of the City of Colton authorizes entering into the State of California Agreement GLTK-2080 providing for a cost of living increase to the State's Department of Education Latchkey Grant in the amount of $8,313. SECTION 2: Authorize the City Manager to sign the applicable document. SECTION 3: It is necessary to make an amendment to the 2002/2003 Fiscal Year Latchkey School Budget by $8,313, increasing the Nutrition Account # 206-7200-7202-2301- 0300 by $2,000, Utilities Expense Account # 206-7200-7202-2320 by $3,000, Professional Services Account #206-7200-7202-2350 by $2,313 and Equipment Lease Account # 206- 7200-7202-2420 by $1,000. SECTION 4: The amendment is hereby approved, adopted and incorporated herein. PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED THIS 1ST DAY OF APRIL 2003. ATTEST: CAROLINA P. BARRERA, City Clerk DEIRDRE H. BENNETT, Mayor
