Item #4 <br />1 ORDINANCE NO. 0-02-03 <br />2 <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF COLTON AMENDING SECTION <br />3 2.43.050 OF THE COLTON MUNICIPAL CODE PERTAINING TO THE <br />POWERS AND DUTIES OF THE COMMUNITY FACILITIES DISTRICT <br />4 COMMISSION <br />5 <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br />6 <br />7 SECTION 1: Section 2.43.050 of the Colton Municipal Code is hereby amended in its <br />8 entirety to read as follows: <br />9 "Section 2.43.050 Powers and duties. <br />10 The community facilities commission shall have the power and duty to: <br />11 A. Recommend policies along with other commissions to the city council for the <br />development and implementation of new community facilities districts and assessment districts within <br />12 the city; <br />13 B. Recommend policies to the city council related to the operation, use and management <br />14 of existing and future community facilities districts and assessment districts within the city; <br />C. Assist the city manager by submitting a proposed annual budget for the operation of <br />15 existing community facilities districts and assessment districts to the city manager's office." <br />16 <br />SECTION 2: The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this Ordinance and cause the <br />17 <br />same or a summary thereof to be published within fifteen (15) days after adoption in a newspaper of <br />18 <br />general circulation, printed and published in Colton, California, and the Ordinance shall take effect <br />19 <br />thirty (30) days after its enactment in accordance with the provisions of California law. <br />20 <br />21 <br />PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 15th day of April, 2003. <br />22 <br />23 <br />DEIRDRE H.
