A� <br />SUBJECT: FINAL ACCEPTANCE/NOTICE OF COMPLETION FOR THE <br />DEMOLITION OF CONCRETE BLEACHERS AT VETERANS PARK <br />DATE: AUGUST 7, 2003 <br />BACKGROUND: <br />On December 3, 2002, the City Council authorized the demolition of concrete block bleachers and <br />dugouts adjacent to the ball field in Veteran's Park. <br />The bid opening for this project was conducted on March 24, 2003 and the contract was awarded to <br />J&G Industries, Inc. as the lowest responsive and responsible bidder in the amount of $15,300 on <br />April 1, 2003. <br />ANALYSIS/DISCUSSION: <br />The project commenced on May 7, 2003 and was completed on May 12, 2003. The contractor has <br />completed the work as specified in the contract and satisfied all the requirements. <br />ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT <br />The proposed project qualifies for Categorical Exemption under section 15301 (1) — Demolition and <br />removal of individual small structures. <br />CONFLICT OF INTEREST <br />Exact Business Name: J & G Industries, Inc. <br />President or equal: James K.
