As has been the case in the past several years, one stage of this year's race will involve the City of Colton in the same manner as the past few years. Maps and a route schedule are enclosed for your information. On Friday, April 4, the Redlands to Oak Glen Road Race will be held for men. This race will be conducted through the use of a rolling enclosure with the California Highway Patrol and other local police agencies. No specific roadway closures will be necessary in the City of Colton. The Redlands Bicycle Classic agrees to abide by the conditions of approval for any road or special event permit as has been the case in the past years. If you need a form other than this letter, please send a copy and we will complete it and return it to you. The Redlands Bicycle Classic is currently obtaining Certificates of Insurance naming the City of Colton as additional insured. A copy of this certificate will be forwarded to you once it is received.
