R-13-03 <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON, <br />CALIFORNIA AMENDING THE BUDGET FOR FISCAL YEAR <br />COMMENCING JULY 1, 2002 AND ENDING JUNE 30, 2003. <br />WHEREAS, the Budget for the City of Colton for the Fiscal Year commending July 1, <br />2002 and ending June 30, 2003 was approved and adopted on July 16, 2002 and <br />WHEREAS, the approved budget is in accordance with all applicable ordinances of the <br />City and all applicable statutes of the State; and <br />WHEREAS, the reallocation of appropriations between departmental activities may be <br />made by the City Manager, Amendments (increases/decreases) to the Budget shall be by <br />approval and Resolution of the City Council. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON DOES HERE BY <br />RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION 1: The City Council of the City of Colton authorizes entering into the State <br />of California Agreement GPRE-2283 providing for a cost of living increase to the State's <br />Department of Education Pre -School Grant in the amount of $2,958. <br />SECTION 2: Authorize the City Manager to sign the applicable document. <br />SECTION 3: It is necessary to make an amendment to the 2002/2003 Fiscal Year <br />Pre -School Budget by $2,958, increasing the Operating Supplies/Equipment Account # 206- <br />7200-7203-2301 by $1,000, Building and Grounds Maintenance Account # 206-7200-7203- <br />2250 by $1,000 and Miscellaneous Expenses Account # 206-7200-7203-2410 by $958.00. <br />SECTION 4: The amendment is hereby approved, adopted and incorporated herein. <br />PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED THIS 18'hday of February 2003. <br />ATTEST: <br />CAROLINA P.
