Item #5 1 ORDINANCE NO. 0-07-03 2 3 AN ORDINANCE OF THE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON AMENDING PORTIONS OF THE RECHE CANYON 4 SPECIFIC PLAN AND AMENDING THE RECHE CANYON SPECIFIC PLAN LAND USE MAP SHOWN AS AN ADDENDUM TO 5 TITLE 18 OF THE COLTON MUNICIPAL CODE: FILE INDEX NUMBER DT-95-01 6 WHEREAS, the City of Colton filed an application in July of 2002, File Index Number 7 DT-95-01, to amend portions of the Reche Canyon Specific Plan ("Specific Plan") to clarify permitted 8 densities within in the Specific Plan ("Application"); and 9 WHEREAS, the Application was referred to all affected public agencies; and 10 11 WHEREAS, on December 17, 2002 and April 22, 2003, the Planning Commission of 12 the City of Colton ("Planning Commission") conducted duly noticed public hearings on the Application at which time all persons wishing to testify in connection with the Application were heard 13 and the Application was comprehensively reviewed; and 14 15 WHEREAS, on May 20, 2003, the City Council of the City of Colton ("City Council") conducted a duly noticed public hearing on the Application at which time all persons wishing to 16 testify in connection with the Application were heard, the Planning Commission's recommendation 17 was considered and the Application was comprehensively reviewed; and 18 WHEREAS, all other legal prerequisites to the adoption of this Ordinance have 19 occurred. 20 21 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: 22 SECTION 1. Based on the entire record before the City Council, all written and oral 23 evidence presented, and the findings made in this Resolution, the City Council hereby approves the 24 amendments to portions of the Reche Canyon Specific Plan attached hereto as Exhibit "A." 25 SECTION 2. The Land Use Plan Map for the Reche Canyon Specific Plan referred 26 to in Section 18.34.060 of the Colton Municipal Code is hereby amended as shown on the attached 27 Exhibit "A- 1." 28 SECTION 3.
