R-47-03 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />COLTON, AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR OF THE CITY OF COLTON <br />TO SIGN THE DELEGATE AGENCY AGREEMENT AND ITS <br />ATTACHMENTS FOR COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK <br />GRANT FUNDS FOR FISCAL YEARS 2003-2004, 2004-2005, AND <br />2005-2006, WITH THE SAN BERNARDINO COUNTY DEPARTMENT <br />OF ECONOMIC AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT. <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Colton has been notified by the County of <br />San Bernardino Department of Economic and Community Development of its eligibility to <br />participate in the County's Three-Year Community Development Block Grant Cooperating <br />Cities Program; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has entered into a Cooperating Cities Agreement which <br />is binding for three years; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has been informed that the City is now requested to <br />enter into a Delegate Agency Agreement and its attachments, pursuant to Section 16 of the <br />Cooperating Cities Agreement, which are set forth to further implement the provisions of the <br />Cooperating Cities Agreement; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has been informed that the Delegate Agency Agreement <br />and its attachments are specifically subordinate and supplementary to, and concurrent with, <br />the Cooperating Cities Agreement; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to accept said Delegate Agency Agreement, its <br />attachments, and the conditions and responsibilities that relate to said Agreement. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Colton that <br />the Mayor of the City of Colton is authorized to sign the Delegate Agency Agreement, and its <br />attachments, for Community Development Block Grant Funds for Fiscal Years 2003-2004, <br />2004-2005, 2005-2006, and submit said Agreement to the County of San Bernardino <br />Department of Economic and Community Development. <br />PASSED, APPROVED, and ADOPTED this 3rd day of June, 2003. <br />ATTEST: <br />CAROLINA P.
