There shall be no direct sales of products or merchandise from the home. <br />18.44.040 Criteria for home occupations in residences listed on the City of <br />Colton register of historic and scenic resources. Notwithstanding the <br />matrix of uses permitted in each zone contained in Section 18.06.060, a <br />home occupation established in a residential zone within a residence listed <br />on the City of Colton register of historic and scenic resources shall be an <br />incidental and accessory use and shall not change the principal character of <br />the dwelling unit.. It shall comply with the following: <br />AVPUB4NDQM645194 <br />A. There shall be no employees other than members of the residential family <br />living in the residence. <br />B. The use shall not generate pedestrian or vehicular traffic beyond that <br />normally found in the zone in which it is located. <br />C. The home occupation shall not involve the use of commercial vehicles for <br />delivery of materials to or from the premises for commercial purposes. <br />D. There shall be no outside storage of materials and/or supplies. <br />E. The use shall not involve the placement of signs, except those permitted by <br />Chapter 18.50. <br />F. In no way shall the appearance of the structure be so altered or the conduct <br />of the home occupation within the structure be such that the structure may <br />reasonably be recognized as serving a nonresidential use. The <br />architecture, color, materials, construction and lighting of the exterior of the <br />structure shall be reasonably compatible with surrounding residences. <br />
