Item #9 <br />CITY OF COLTON <br />AGENDA REPORT <br />FOR COUNCIL MEETING OF October 7.2003 <br />TO: Honorable Mayor and City Council <br />11, <br />FROM: Ron Kenny, Community Services Director R <br />SUBJECT: Use of Fleming Park for City Halloween Carnival on Saturday, October 25, <br />2003,2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. <br />DATE: September 16, 2003 <br />BACKGROUND: <br />The Community Services Department is requesting the use of Fleming Park to host the annual City <br />Halloween Carnival on Saturday, October 25, 2003. A copy of the facility reservation application <br />has been included. <br />DISCUSSIONIANALYSIS: <br />The carnival will begin at 4:00 p.m. and conclude at approximately 6:00 p.m. Fleming Park <br />continues to provide a great atmosphere for the program, which has become a Colton tradition. <br />Expected attendance is estimated at approximately 300 people, including adults and children. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: <br />No Impact <br />CONFLICT OF INTEREST: <br />Cotton Community Services Department <br />Director: Ron Kenny <br />Contact: Bill Smith <br />Staff recommends the approval of the Community Services Departments use of Fleming Park on <br />Saturday, October 25, 2003.
