RECOMMENDATIONS
1. Approve the revised remaining construction cost budget of $8,140,743 and the revised remaining total project
budget of $10,605,958 for the Big League Dreams Community Sports Park, and adopt attached resolution.
2. Approve a revised General Fund reserve designation in the amount of $2,487,637 for the Big League Dreams
Community Sports Park (an increase of $1,022,422 over the previously approved amount).
3. Direct staff and the City Attorney to obtain satisfaction relative to the easement indemnity matter involving the
Canyon Coach property by either a language change acceptable to the City Attorney, or by the
indemnification and purchase of an insurance policy by EVLC on the City's behalf to protect the City against
any liability that may occur as a result of not making the acceptable language changes.
4. Direct staff and the City Attorney to continue working with EVLC and/or Ashley Furniture to successfully omit
zoning change language in the CC&R's that the City Attorney believes unnecessarily impedes the City's
related powers. However, this direction and any related success is not a condition of the close of escrow.
REVIEW TEAM ONLY
City Attorney: Finance Director:
City Manager: OTHER:
