Resources Code §§ <br />21000 Et Seq.) <br />DATE: April 13, 2004 <br />BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION: <br />Section 21082 of the Public Resources Code (CLOA) requires all public agencies to adopt <br />objectives, criteria and procedures for the evaluation of public and private projects undertaken or <br />approved by such public agencies. As Agency Counsel, BB&K will be providing the CEQA <br />updates to the Agency. In order to be in compliance with CEQA, the Agency needs to adopt a <br />resolution, which amends and adopts the local guidelines for implementing CEQA. <br />The proposed CEQA amendments are consistent and compatible with the policies of the State of <br />California and the Agency.
