R-93-04 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON <br />AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF MASTER AGREEMENTS, PROGRAM <br />SUPPLEMENTAL AGREEMENTS, FUND EXCHANGE AGREEMENTS, AND <br />FUND TRANSFER AGREEMENTS WITH CALIFORNIA DEPARTMENT OF <br />TRANSPORTATION <br />WHEREAS, the City of Colton is a municipal corporation duly organized and existing <br />pursuant to the laws of the State of California; and <br />WHEREAS, from time to time, the City of Colton is required to carry out various <br />transportation projects for the health, safety and welfare of the public; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Colton is eligible to receive Federal and/or State funding for <br />certain transportation projects through the California Department of Transportation; and <br />WHEREAS, Master Agreements, Program Supplemental Agreements, Fund <br />Exchange Agreements and/or Fund Transfer Agreements must be executed with the <br />California Department of Transportation before such funds can be claimed; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Colton wishes to delegate authorization to execute these <br />agreements and any amendments there to the City Manager. <br />BE IT NOW THEREFORE RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION 1. Authorization. The City Manager is hereby authorized to <br />execute all Master Agreements, Program Supplemental Agreements, Fund Exchange <br />Agreements, Fund Transfer Agreements and any amendments thereto between the City of <br />Colton and the California Department of Transportation. <br />SECTION 2. Effective Date. This Resolution shall take effect immediately <br />upon its adoption. <br />PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 3rd day of August, 2004. <br />ATTEST: <br />CAROLINA P.
