Item #18 <br />CITY OF COLTON <br />AGENDA REPORT <br />FOR THE CITY COUNCIL MEETING OF DECEMBER 7, 2004 <br />TO: HONORABLE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL MEMBERS <br />FROM: AMER JAKHER, P.E., CITY ENGINEER 6 <br />SUBJECT: ACCEPTANCE OF AGREEMENT FOR EXCHANGE OF PROPERTY <br />AND LOT LINE ADJUSTMENT FOR 2201 WILD CANYON DRIVE. <br />DATE: NOVEMBER 29, 2004 <br />BACKGROUND: <br />In June 2004, Danny Stouffer submitted an application to build a single family dwelling for his <br />property at 2201 Wild Canyon Drive. To provide access for the proposed house, Mr. Stouffer <br />requested right-of-way from the City along the west side of the existing water tank on Wild Canyon <br />Drive. In return for the right-of-way, Mr. Stouffer agreed to provide the City with additional land <br />behind the existing tank for an additional tank site. <br />ANALYSIS/DISCUSSION: <br />Approval of the lot line adjustment and acceptance of agreement for exchange of property would be <br />beneficial for both properties. It will allow the City to build the water tank in the future and allow <br />Mr. Stouffer to have access to his property. <br />CONFLICT OF INTEREST: <br />Contact or representative: Danny Stouffer <br />ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT: <br />Not Applicable <br />FINANCIAL/FISCAL IMPACT: <br />The acceptance of the agreement for the exchange of property, acknowledges that both parties <br />involves no payment of a purchase price, deposit, escrow costs, title costs, or other costs except title <br />insurance, by either party. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Staff recommends that Council accept the agreement for the exchange of property and lot <br />line adjustment for 2201 Wild Canyon Drive. <br />
