WHEREAS, the City of Colton represent the service area is within the incorporated boundary of Colton (APN#s 260-091-16, 26, 28, 29, 30 — 33, 36, 37, 77, 80 and 81) located at the west side of Riverside Avenue, south of Agua Mansa Road, as shown on the attached Agreement Exhibit A; said parcels are outside the incorporated boundaries of Rialto; and WHEREAS, other wastewater central collection disposal systems are unavailable; and the City of Colton desire to connect to the City sewer collection system for the general health, safety and welfare; and WHEREAS, the City of Colton desires to and under the attached agreement have committed to or will commit to provide, at City of Colton cost, a gravity sewer main, with connections from the building drains to the sewer main, a lift station, and force sewer mains, including all road cuts. patching, permits and inspections, and perpetual operation and maintenance costs; and WHEREAS, the City of Rialto owns and operates the sewage collection main running along and within Agua Mansa Road which is within Rialto's defined Service Area; and WHEREAS, Rialto has defined and established by Council Resolution a policy and administrative guidelines to provide for sewer service outside the City's corporate boundaries; and WHEREAS, in consideration of Rialto's agreement to provide adequate conveyance, treatment and disposal services to the Scrvice Area, the City of Colton agrees to make payments described in the attached Agreement with respect to wastewater from the Service Area discharged OiJpi.,at jna i.id•f,ki p�p�i) -1-
