Zamora, Cdrnmunity)bevelopment Director <br />Item #6 <br />SUBJECT: Request for Recruitment and Ratification of Employee Appointment to the Full - <br />Time Position of Planning Assistant in the Community Development Department <br />DATE: August 26, 2004 <br />BACKGROUND: <br />Although the position is currently filled, staff is requesting recruitment for the position to establish an <br />eligibility list for future consideration. <br />ANALYSIS/DISCUSSION: <br />Recruitment for said position will be conducted and an eligibility list will be established upon approval by <br />the City Council. The candidate chosen will meet the education and experience requirements as specified <br />in the job description. <br />FISCAL IMPACT: <br />This is a general fund position and is budgeted for in the approved budget for Fiscal Year 2004-2005 in <br />the following accounts: Account Number 100-6300-6301-1010 (salary) and Account Number 100- <br />6300-6302-1100 (salary related benefits).
