FRASER, DIRECTOR OF WATER & WASTEWATER OPERATIONS <br />I SUBJECT: NOTICE OF COMPLETION, EQUIPPING OF WELL NO. 21 WITH NEW I <br />PUMP BOWL ASSEMBLY, COLUMN AND SHAFT <br />I DATE: November 28, 2005 <br />BACKGROUND: <br />On September 21, 2004 the City Council awarded a contract in the amount of $58,403.00 to Bakersfield Well <br />& Pump Co. to furnish and install pumping equipment for Well No. 21. <br />DISCUSSION/ANALYSIS: <br />The Contractor has completed the project and satisfied all the requirements of contract terms and <br />agreements for this project as specified in the contract. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: <br />Sufficient funds are available in Capital Improvement Account, Number 521-8100-8105-3890 <br />ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT: <br />None <br />CONFLICT OF INTEREST — Gift Disclosure Requirements <br />Exact Business Name: Bakersfield Well & Pump Company <br />President or Equal: Dennis McKindley, Vice President <br />Contact:: Same <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />• Staff respectfully recommends Final Acceptance of the Equipping of Well No. 21 with the Installation <br />of Pump Bowl Assembly, Column and Shaft in the amount of $63,274.81 and requests that the City <br />Council authorize filing a Notice of Completion for this project. <br />• Staff recommends that Council approve the execution and recordation of this document. <br />Attachment: Notice of Completion <br />Prepared by: Eric Fraser, Director of Water/Wastewater <br />
