R-63-05 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON <br />APPROVING A SALARY INCREASE FOR THE RECREATION <br />LEADER AND SENIOR RECREATION LEADER POSITIONS IN THE <br />COMMUNITY SERVICES DEPARTMENT <br />WHEREAS, the City of Colton has determined that the City's current rate of <br />compensation for the positions of Recreation Leader and Senior Recreation Leader <br />in the Community Services Department is lower than the prevailing rates paid by <br />other cities for the same position; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council recognizes the need to competitively compensate <br />employees in order to ensure the stability of City programs and services, and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council desires to amend the compensation range for the <br />positions of Recreation Leader and Senior Recreation Leader by establishing a new <br />salary range which is competitive with prevailing rates paid by other cities. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON DOES <br />HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION 1.
