CITY OF COLTON <br />AGENDA REPORT Item #17 <br />FOR COUNCIL MEETING OF MARCH 15, 2005 <br />TO: HONORABLE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL <br />FROM: DILU DE ALWIS, FINANCE DIRECTOR <br />SUBJECT: APPROVAL OF RESOLUTION APPOINTING SPECIFIC <br />REPRESENTATIVES TO THE INDEPENDENT CITIES RISK <br />MANAGEMENT AUTHORITY (ICRMA) <br />DATE: <br />BACKGROUND: <br />Currently the ICRMA allows Member Cities to designate a representative and two (2) alternate <br />Representatives to the Governing Board of the ICRMA. Per the ICRMA records the Colton City <br />Council had designated Council Member Helen Ramos as a Representative, Finance Director Dilu <br />de Alwis and Human Resources Director Anthony Arroyo as Substitute Representatives and <br />Substitute Alternate Representatives respectively. <br />DISCUSSION/ANALYSIS: <br />ICRMA regulations state that when the City ICRMA Governing Board Representatives change or <br />are added, an amendment must be made to the existing City Resolution. At the January 18, 2005 <br />meeting, the City Council appointed Council Member John Mitchell to the ICRMA Governing <br />Board. This appointment requires the approval of the attached resolution indicating all appointees <br />to the ICRMA Governing Board <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: <br />None <br />ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT: <br />None <br />CONFLICT OF INTEREST - Gift Disclosure Requirements <br />N/A <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Respectfully request that the City Council adopt the attached resolution to authorize the <br />appointments of a Representative Alternated Representative and a Substitute Alternate <br />Representative to the ICRMA Governing Board. <br />Attachment: Resolution <br />Finance Director: <br />Manager: - \_ �12 OTH <br />
