R-29-05 <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON, CALIFORNIA <br />AMENDING THE BUDGET FOR FISCAL YEAR COMMENCING JULY 1, 2004 AND <br />ENDING JUNE 30, 2005 <br />WHEREAS: The Budget for the City of Colton for the Fiscal Year <br />commencing July 1, 2004 and ending June 30, 2005 was approved and adopted on <br />June 28, 2004; and <br />WHEREAS: The approved budget is in accordance with all applicable <br />ordinances of the City and all applicable statutes of the State; and <br />WHEREAS: The reallocation of appropriations between departmental <br />activities may be made by the City Manager, amendments (increases/decreases) to <br />the Budget shall be by approval and Resolution of the City Council. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON DOES <br />HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION 1 — It has become necessary to make an amendment to the <br />2004/2005 Fiscal Year Budget, in order to continue to fund childcare services for <br />families in -need at the Colton Cares Childcare Center. This amendment shall <br />increase the Childcare 'Transfer -in" Account and the General Fund 'Transfer -out' <br />Account, both in the amount of $16,000. <br />SECTION 2 — The amendment is hereby approved, adopted and incorporated <br />herein. <br />PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED THIS 15th DAY OF MARCH, 2005. <br />ATTEST: <br />CAROLINA BARRERA, CMC <br />CITY CLERK <br />DEIRDRE H.
