Obligations of Contractor: <br />A. Provide the Medical Center complete law enforcement coverage on a 24 hour per day, 7 day per week basis. <br />B. Provide one (1) marked Police Patrol Vehicle with the Medical Center logo. <br />C. Provide one (1) Police Sergeant who will provide approximately twenty (20) hours per week of on-site <br />supervision and coordinate law enforcement activity with Hospital Staff and Administration. <br />D. Provide immediate access to all divisions of the Colton Police Department, including Administration, <br />Investigation, Major Incidents and Traffic. <br />D. Provide immediate availability of and access to additional Police personnel and supervision when necessary. <br />E. Monitor and evaluate all employees assigned to the Medical Center with input from Hospital staff where <br />applicable. Contractor shall maintain all responsibility for counseling and disciplining its employees per <br />Contractor's regulations and policies. Contractor shall investigate all claims against Contractor's employees <br />when advised by Medical Center staff. <br />F. Train personnel in accordance with Medical Center's Injury and Illness Prevention Plan (IPP). The Medical <br />Center will provide a copy of the IPP for Contractor to train all Contractor's employees who may be assigned <br />to Medical Center to facilitate compliance. Contractor will also comply with TB testing of the Medical Center <br />for its personnel which shall include a "Fit" test for facemasks. Treatment as a result of any positive readings <br />will be the responsibility of Contractor. It is requested that Contractor officers who desire Hepatitis B <br />inoculations receive them from the Medical Center at no cost. Other medical issues involving Contractor <br />personnel shall be discussed with the Medical Center's Employee Health Nurse or other Hospital employee. <br />G. Within fifteen days of the end of each month, provide to the Hospital Security Representative a monthly <br />summary of security incidents, security conditions and other calls for service to maintain compliance with <br />regulatory and accrediting agencies of the Medical Center. <br />H. Invoice Medical Center on a monthly basis at rates listed on Attachment A. <br />II. Obligations of Medical Center: <br />A. Identify a Management Representative to whom the Contractor will report. This person will be referred to as <br />the Hospital Security Representative. All coordination regarding the security of the Contractor's program will <br />occur through this individual. He/she will respond to the needs of the Hospital, and continually evaluate the <br />Contractor's program. For the purposes of this paragraph, the term "Hospital" includes all facilities including <br />medical, office and administrative buildings located within the City of Colton. <br />B. Provide to the Contractor 150-200 sq ft of secured office space which will include desk(s), computer with <br />internet accessibility, printer, meeting table, chairs, locking storage cabinet, and telephone. <br />C. Reimburse Contractor upon receipt of invoice at mutually agreed upon rates in Attachment A. <br />III. Indemnification and Insurance: <br />Indemnification: To the full extent permitted by law, Contractor shall indemnify, defend and hold harmless the County <br />and its authorized officers, employees, agents and volunteers from any and all claims, actions, losses, damages <br />and/or liability arising from Contractor's acts, errors or omissions and for any costs or expenses incurred by the County <br />on account of any claim therefore, except where such indemnification is prohibited by law. <br />Page 2 of 7 <br />
