The proposed Amended Ordinance may provide
some revenue because some city property may be considered for leases for the placement of
additional WTF's.
ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT:
An Environmental Assessment/Initial Study was prepared for the Sprint PCS project proposal
which included the proposed Text Amendment to the Ordinance. The Planning Commission
recommended that the City Council approve a Negative Declaration.
CONFLICT OF INTEREST:
None.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends the City Council allow public comment on the proposed Amended Ordinance;
Waive Full Reading and Pass First Reading of an Ordinance of the City Council Amending and
Restating Chapter 18.39 of the Colton Municipal Code Relating to Telecommunication and
Antenna Towers.
Attachment: Ordinance
REVIEW TEAM ONLY
City Attorney: -- AkIr . _ Finance Director:
City Manager: C OTHER:
ORANGE\MXM\20974.1
