R-126-05 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />COLTON TO ACCEPT A FEDERAL COPS TECH GRANT IN THE <br />AMOUNT OF $98,664.00 AND AMEND THE 2005/2006 FISCAL <br />YEAR BUDGET <br />WHEREAS, The Budget for the City of Colton for the Fiscal Year commencing <br />July 1,2005 and ending June 30, 2006 was approved and adopted June 21, 2005; and <br />WHEREAS, The approved budget is in accordance with all applicable ordinances <br />of the City of Colton and all applicable statutes of the State; and <br />WHEREAS, on August 2, 2005, the City Council approved the purchase of a <br />Mobile Command Center and adopted Resolution No. R-1012-05 which amended the <br />Budget for the City of Colton for the Fiscal Year commencing July 1,2005 and ending <br />June 30, 2006 to include this Grant amount of $98,664.00; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON DOES <br />HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION 1. It is necessary to approve and accept this Federal COPS <br />TECH GRANT in the amount of $98,664.00 to the Revenue Account 225-5890-000. <br />SECTION 2. It is necessary to make an amendment to the 2005/2006 <br />Fiscal Year Budget, appropriating funds to account number 225-6070-6088-4910 for <br />$664.00. <br />SECTION 3. The amendment is hereby approved, adopted and <br />incorporated herein. <br />PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 20th day of September, 2005. <br />ATTEST: <br />CAROLINA P.
