Unanimous vote. <br />PUBLIC HEARINGS: <br />QChapter 27, Dst. 81-23 <br />Mayor Gonzales declared the public hearing open. <br />City Clerk Ramos submitted the Affidavit of Posting and reported no protests or <br />objections had been received. <br />City Engineer Wang reported this Chapter 27 involves the asphalt paving of the <br />-- Alley between 10th and 11th and "N" and "0" Streets. <br />Mr. Wang reported this improvement was petition requested by adjacent property <br />owners and all required notices have been sent with a formal affidavit of such <br />being filed in the official records. Mr. Wang said at this time adoption of <br />Resolution No. 4129 would be in order. <br />Mayor Gonzales asked if there was anyone in the audience desiring to speak for or <br />against this matter. Hearing on one, Mayor Gonzales asked that the hearing be <br />closed. <br />Moved by Councilman Rehrer, seconded by Councilwoman Garcia, to terminate the public <br />hearing. Unanimous vote. <br />Moved by Councilwoman Cisneros, seconded by Councilman Hayes, to approve Resolution <br />No. 4129. Unanimous vote. <br />RESOLUTION NO. 4129 - RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON, CALIFORNIA, <br />MAKING FINDINGS, OVERRULING PROTESTS AND OBJECTIONS, AND ORDERING <br />THE CONSTRUCTION OF CERTAIN IMPROVEMENTS PURSUANT TO SECTION 5870, <br />ET SEQ., OF THE STREETS AND HIGHWAYS CODE OF THE STATE OF CALI- <br />FORNIA. (CHAPTER 27, DISTRICT 81-23) <br />Weed Abatement <br />Mayor Gonzales declared the public hearing open. <br />City Clerk Ramos submitted the Affidavit of Posting and reported no protests or <br />objections had been received. <br />Superintendent of Streets, Mr. Wang reported on the cost of the annual weed abate- <br />ment program saying, the contractor, Ed Martin's Discing has satisfactorily abated <br />338 parcels at a total cost of $21,810.23. <br />Mr. Wang recommended acceptance of the project as 100% complete and requested <br />authorization to file the Notice of Completion for recording. <br />Mayor Gonzales asked if there was anyone in the audience desiring to speak for or <br />against this matter.
