Unanimous vote. PUBLIC HEARINGS: QChapter 27, Dst. 81-23 Mayor Gonzales declared the public hearing open. City Clerk Ramos submitted the Affidavit of Posting and reported no protests or objections had been received. City Engineer Wang reported this Chapter 27 involves the asphalt paving of the -- Alley between 10th and 11th and "N" and "0" Streets. Mr. Wang reported this improvement was petition requested by adjacent property owners and all required notices have been sent with a formal affidavit of such being filed in the official records. Mr. Wang said at this time adoption of Resolution No. 4129 would be in order. Mayor Gonzales asked if there was anyone in the audience desiring to speak for or against this matter. Hearing on one, Mayor Gonzales asked that the hearing be closed. Moved by Councilman Rehrer, seconded by Councilwoman Garcia, to terminate the public hearing. Unanimous vote. RESOLUTION NO. 4129 - RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON, CALIFORNIA, MAKING FINDINGS, OVERRULING PROTESTS AND OBJECTIONS, AND ORDERING THE CONSTRUCTION OF CERTAIN IMPROVEMENTS PURSUANT TO SECTION 5870, ET SEQ., OF THE STREETS AND HIGHWAYS CODE OF THE STATE OF CALI- FORNIA. (CHAPTER 27, DISTRICT 81-23) Weed Abatement Mayor Gonzales declared the public hearing open. City Clerk Ramos submitted the Affidavit of Posting and reported no protests or objections had been received. Superintendent of Streets, Mr. Wang reported on the cost of the annual weed abate- ment program saying, the contractor, Ed Martin's Discing has satisfactorily abated 338 parcels at a total cost of $21,810.23. Mr. Wang recommended acceptance of the project as 100% complete and requested authorization to file the Notice of Completion for recording.
