Councilman Rehrer said he has made this statement many times, in that he is not <br />1 8 8opposed to the City having a Library, but he has always been opposed to the form <br />of financing for the project. <br />Councilwoman Cisneros stated she was in agreement with Councilman Rehrer, that she <br />has never been opposed to the City having a Library, however, she voted against <br />certain actions that were taken for the Library project and the form of financing. <br />Mrs. Cisneros said at this point, however, the Council has no choice but to back <br />the City and proceed with the project. <br />Councilwoman Garcia stated she is not opposed to proceeding with the Library, she <br />thinks it is a good project, she was on the prevailing side voting for the Library <br />and she was not ashamed of that, she thought it was a good job and a good financing <br />project. — <br />Moved by Councilwoman Cisneros, seconded by Councilman Rios, to proceed with plans <br />and arrangements for the Colton Public Library Center Facility. Motion carried, <br />with Councilman Rehrer voting NO. <br />Portraits <br />Moved by Councilwoman Garcia, seconded by Councilman Rehrer, approving and authorizing <br />that the portraits of former Council Members Frank A. Gonzales and James D. Hayes be <br />returned to them. Unanimous vote. <br />CLOSED SESSION: <br />The City Council adjourned to Closed Session at 7:15 p. m., to discuss Personnel <br />Matters, and reconvened at 7:45 p. m. <br />ADJOURNMENT: <br />City Attorney Edwards announced there was no further business to come before the <br />City Council at this time, and Mayor Huntoon was adjourning the meeting at 7:45 <br />P. Johnson of the Colton Community Church. <br />ROLL CALL: <br />Council Members present were Rios, Cisneros, Rehrer, Garcia, and Mayor Huntoon.
