Councilman Rehrer said he has made this statement many times, in that he is not 1 8 8opposed to the City having a Library, but he has always been opposed to the form of financing for the project. Councilwoman Cisneros stated she was in agreement with Councilman Rehrer, that she has never been opposed to the City having a Library, however, she voted against certain actions that were taken for the Library project and the form of financing. Mrs. Cisneros said at this point, however, the Council has no choice but to back the City and proceed with the project. Councilwoman Garcia stated she is not opposed to proceeding with the Library, she thinks it is a good project, she was on the prevailing side voting for the Library and she was not ashamed of that, she thought it was a good job and a good financing project. — Moved by Councilwoman Cisneros, seconded by Councilman Rios, to proceed with plans and arrangements for the Colton Public Library Center Facility. Motion carried, with Councilman Rehrer voting NO. Portraits Moved by Councilwoman Garcia, seconded by Councilman Rehrer, approving and authorizing that the portraits of former Council Members Frank A. Gonzales and James D. Hayes be returned to them. Unanimous vote. CLOSED SESSION: The City Council adjourned to Closed Session at 7:15 p. m., to discuss Personnel Matters, and reconvened at 7:45 p. m. ADJOURNMENT: City Attorney Edwards announced there was no further business to come before the City Council at this time, and Mayor Huntoon was adjourning the meeting at 7:45 P.
