The Proclamation was accepted by a <br />Q member of the Inland Empire Chapter, Southern California Affiliate, <br />Inc.. of the American Diabetes Association. <br />Councilwoman Garcia read in full a Proclamation declaring the month <br />of November as VETERANS UNITY MONTH - A SALUTE TO WOMEN VETERANS. <br />Resolutions <br />Councilman Rehrer read in full a Resolution of Congratulations com- <br />mending the AMERICAN TOASTMASTERS ACHIEVERS CLUB 2793 for their ac- <br />complishments and recent participation in the Area and Division <br />Speech Contests. The Resolution was accepted by a member of the <br />AT;r] Achievers Club 2793. <br />Councilman Rios read in full a Resolution of Commendation on behalf of <br />the COLTON TRAVELODGE for their community support and "good neighbor" <br />spirit in accommodating out-of-town members of the Colton Band Review <br />and their families. The Resolution was accepted by a representative <br />of the Colton Travelodge. <br />Boards and Commissions <br />Civil Service Board <br />Moved by Councilman Rehrer, seconded by Councilman Rios, appointing <br />Mr. Wes Hayden to the Civil Service Board. Unanimous vote. <br />PUBLIC HEARINGS: <br />Special Assessments <br />Assessment District No. 79-1 <br />Parcel Maps <br />Parcel Map No. 7799 <br />Director of Community Services Joseph McGee stated the owners of the <br />property as shown on Parcel Map No. 7799, within Assessment District <br />No. 79-1, are making an offer of dedication of streets, and Staff <br />recommends that the City Council accept this offer of dedication sub- <br />ject to the improvements of the right-of-way for Parcel Map No. 7799. <br />Moved by Councilwoman Cisneros, seconded by Councilman Rehrer, approv- <br />ing Staff's recommendation with regard to Parcel Map No. 7799. Vote <br />was unanimous. <br />Mayor Huntoon declared the Public Hearing open, to hear protests or <br />objections to the Resolution of Intention, Engineer's "Report" and <br />all other matters relating to Assessment District No. 79-1, Airport <br />Commerce Center. <br />WIN 11983 <br />
