No. 4498 City Manager Elliott advised that the necessary material concerning the proposed job description for Chief Building Inspector is not yet available, and therefore Staff is requesting that the Public Hearing- ing be continued to the next regular Council Meeting of September 4, 1984. MMUNITY SERVICES DIRECTOR'S REPORTS AND RECOMMENDATION Agreements/Fees Acting Director of Community Services John Hutton reported on the pro- posed water and sewer extension for future development of the Reche Canyon area, advising that Metropolitan Development Corporation is proposing the development of a 278 single family residential subdivi- sion in the Reche Canyon area, and in order to develop the proposed subdivision, it is necessary to install several offsite utilities which would be of great benefit to the entire Reche Canyon area and its residents. Mr. Hutton continued that Metropolitan Development Corporation is re- questing the Council consider deferring their prospective fees in lieu of the major costs for the installation of the offsite sewer and water systems, and additionally, consider entering into a reimbursement agreement for a period of ten years.
