Unanimous <br />vote. <br />ORDINANCE NO. 0-14-87 - AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF COLTON AMENDING <br />(First Reading) TITLE 18 OF THE COLTON MUNCIPAL CODE SECTION <br />18.12.160, USES PERMITTED IN EACH ZONE; AND <br />SECTION 18.16.020, DWELLING SIZE. <br />Personnel <br />Res. No. R-109-87 <br />Mayor Gonzales declared the Public Hearing open. <br />Personnel Officer Benest submitted the Affidavit of Posting and reported <br />that no protests or objections had been received. <br />City Manager Benest reported this new position was approved in the <br />1987-88 City Budget for the Police Department. The major responsibilities <br />of the Police Support Services Supervisor include the supervision and <br />training of approximately 18 non -sworn communication and clerical <br />record employees; assuring the accuracy and compliance of required <br />statistical reports; and the coordination and implementation of <br />computer systems and programs. <br />Mr. Benest stated the position is an exempt classification and will <br />be placed in the Management/Confidential Unit, with a salary range <br />of 13.0 ($2308-$2804). Mr. Benest recommended adoption of the <br />job description and salary resolution amending the Pay and Classifica- <br />tion Plan for Police Support Services Supervisor. <br />No one addressed the Council. <br />Moved by Councilwoman Cisneros, seconded by Councilman Rios, to close the <br />Public Hearing.
