Mr. Aguilera continued the City has met all terms and conditions re- <br />quired by the Grant Agreement and will be submitting the 1985/86 <br />Grantee Performance Report for the period July 1, 1985 to June 30, 1986. <br />Mr. Aguilera then outlined excerpts from the Report on expenditures and <br />Grant balance, and rehabilitation loans received and completed. Mr. <br />Aguilera stated the program was originally set for completion in April, <br />1986, however, the California State Department of Housing and Urban De- <br />velopment extended the Grant award period to April 1, 1987. <br />Mr. Aguilera concluded Staff recommends accepting the 1985/86 Annual <br />Grantee Performance Report as being a complete description of Housing <br />Rehabilitation activity and expenditures on Grant No. 83-STBG-077 and <br />authorize Staff to submit the report to the California State Department <br />of Housing and Urban Development. <br />Mayor Gonzales asked if anyone present desired to speak on this matter. <br />Moved by Councilwoman Cisneros, seconded by Councilman Rehrer, the Public <br />Hearing was terminated. Unanimous vote. <br />Moved by Councilwoman Cisneros, seconded by Councilwoman Garcia, to ap- <br />prove Staff's recommendation with regard to Grantee Performance Report. <br />Unanimous vote. <br />CITY MANAGER'S REPORTS AND RECOMMENDATIONS: <br />Lake Cadena Mobile Home Park <br />City Manager Benest made a status report on Lake Cadena Mobile Home <br />Park, advising that Staff is attempting to arrange a meeting between <br />the owner of the park and tenant representatives to identify various <br />options and the possibility of establishing a rent stabilization ordi- <br />nance. <br />MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL ITEMS: <br />Councilwoman Cisneros stated she would like to have Staff look into <br />the City's dog ordinances and laws to see if something can be done <br />about the large amount of dogs that continually roam through neighbor- <br />hoods. Mrs. Cisneros said she has received many complaints about this <br />matter. <br />City Manager Benest stated Staff would check into this and report back <br />to the City Council. <br />RECESS: <br />The City Council recessed at 7:50 p. m., to take up the business of the <br />Redevelopment Agency for the City of Colton, and reconvened at 8:10 p.m. <br />CLOSED SESSION: <br />4 <br />
