Ms. Keane stated should Council wish to use revenue sharing funds <br />for other programs or expenditures not currently included in the <br />proposed budget, it will be necessary to either reduce the Human <br />Services Department Budget or to fund it with other General Fund <br />monies. <br />Mayor Gonzales opened the public hearing for public input. <br />There being no public input, the public hearing was closed on motion <br />of Council Member Cisneros, seconded by Council Member Rios. <br />Unanimous vote. <br />Ms. Keane recommended that upon Council consensus to accept staff's <br />proposal for the use of the Revenue Sharing funds, the City Council <br />should defer minute action to adopt a revenue sharing budget until <br />the Adjourned Council Meeting of June 30, 1987, when the City's <br />Fiscal Year 1987-88 Annual Budget will be ready for adoption. <br />Moved by Council Member Cisneros, seconded by Council Member Garcia, <br />to continue the decision on revenue sharing proposed use for inclu- <br />sion in the final adoption of the Fiscal Year 1987-88 City Budget <br />on June 30, 1987. Unanimous vote. <br />RECESS: <br />The City Council recessed at 5:45 p.m. to allow the Redevelopment <br />Agency to commence their meeting. <br />The City Council reconvened at 6:06 p.m., all members present. <br />CLOSED SESSION: <br />The City Council adjourned to Close Session at 6:07 p.m. to consider <br />Personnel Matters, pursuant to Government Code Section 54957.
