PUBLIC HEARINGS: <br />Res. No. R-66-88 <br />Mayor Gonzales declared the Public Hearing open. <br />Personnel Officer Benest submitted the Affidavit of Posting and re- <br />ported that no protests or objections had been received. <br />City Manager Benest reported on the new position of Senior Customer <br />Service Representative, approved in the 1988-89 Budget, for the Admini- <br />strative Services Department. The salary range for this position will <br />be 14.0, and will be placed in the General Unit. <br />Mr. Benest concluded Staff recommends adoption of the Job Description <br />for the position of Senior Customer Service Representative and Resolu- <br />tion No. R-66-88. <br />Mayor Gonzales asked if anyone present desired to speak on this matter. <br />Moved by Councilman Rehrer, seconded by Councilman. Rios, to close the <br />the Public Hearing. Unanimous vote. <br />Moved by Councilman Rehrer, seconded by Councilwoman Garcia, to approve <br />the Job Description for Senior Customer Service Representative and adopt <br />Resolution No. R-66-88. Unanimous vote. <br />RESOLUTION NO. R-66-88 - A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF COLTON AMENDTNG RESOLUTION NO. R-160-88. <br />CITY MANAGER'S REPORTS AND RECOMMENDATIONS: <br />Administrative Policies <br />City Vehicles <br />Assistant City Manager Keane reported from a memorandum regarding a pro- <br />posed policy regulating employee use of City vehicles, and identified <br />conditions under which City employees would receive an automobile allow- <br />ance or be assigned use of a City vehicle. <br />Ms. Keane advised this policy has not yet been discussed with the em- <br />ployee associations, however, after Council action, Staff would meet <br />with all of the associations and discuss this matter. <br />Ms. Keane concluded Staff recommends Council adopt the proposed City <br />Policy governing the use of City vehicles. <br />Mayor Gonzales recommended that Item No. 8 of the proposed Policy should <br />include in the statement that the City Council shall designate those <br />employees eligible for automobile allowances. <br />2 <br />
